Front Mount Adapters

E-Bike Manufacturers are putting all sorts of custom mounting bosses on the front of their frames.  Many of them offer M6 bosses facing forward, which allow you to direct bolt a front mount right to the frame.  Our E-Bike kit is configured for these bikes, which don't need adapters.

But other bikes have side facing mounting bosses, or front facing bosses with smaller M5 tapped holes.  For these bikes we offer the following adapters that will allow you to mount to them.

Adapters include:

• Ride 1 Up - Fits Portola and Vorsa
• Velotric -  Mounts to side bosses
• Benno - Mounts to side bosses
• Aventon Type 1 - Fits Aventon Abound and Sinch Bikes, and Aventure 3
• Aventon Type 2 - Fits Aventon Aventure 1 and Aventure 2
• M5 Lectric - Older models of Lectric Bikes have M5 bosses on the front of the frame instead of M6, this adapter will allow you to mount to these older frames
• M5 Radio Flyer - Fits the M5 bosses on the front of the frame.
• Electric Bike Company - Mounts to side bosses and also has a tapped hole to relocate the headlight

If you aren't sure what you need, please send us a photo of the front end of your bike so we can take a look and make sure you get the right setup.  It always helps if you tell us what you are trying to carry as well.  The front adapters are typically paired with the Longboard Racks or our E Bike Racks.

The front mount bosses are typically for front rack accessories.  If you have installed the front rack on your bike, checkout our Moped Racks which can be installed into most front racks for a very stable front mount.
