Moved By Bikes Surf Racks use 6mm (M6) stainless steel hardware for all mechanical attachments. In some cases, you may need some extra hardware, so we offer these two common bolt sizes in pairs, with washers included. These are standard bolts and washers that you can also purchase from your local hardware store or online sources.
The 50mm size, in particular, can be used to convert a front head tube mount to a direct bolt mount on frames with welded in M6 studs, which is common on a wide range of E Bikes including the bikes from Rad Power Bikes and Murf.
We also recommend using common anti-seize compound on stainless steel hardware, to prevent galling over time. This is especially important with exposure to saltwater.
